POCO M4 5G specifications revealed

POCO launched the POCO M4 series back in November last year. It is curious that the company decided to start offering the highest offer – the POCO M4 Pro 5G. We weren’t expecting a 4G release, but the company surprised us last month with the POCO M4 Pro 4G. Now, it appears that the company is already going in the opposite direction. The last device to be revealed will be the POCO M4 5G. Remnants of evidence about this phone are starting to emerge. Just like the POCO M4 Pro 4G and 5G variants, the minimalist 5G variant will also offer a MediaTek chipset, but with slightly lower brightness.

POCO has not yet confirmed the existence of the POCO M4 5G, but the first details are starting to emerge. A new leak has surfaced today that lists the full spec sheet of the phone. In fact, the new vanilla smartphone looks very similar to last year’s POCO M3 Pro 5G. Without further ado, let’s see what the broker market holds.

Alleged specifications of POCO M4 5G

According to the leaked specifications, the POCO M4 5G will bring a MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. These slides are very familiar to everyone who follows this particular slide closely. It brings two ARM Cortex-A76 cores clocked at up to 2.2GHz as well as six ARM Cortex-A55 cores clocked at up to 2.0GHz. The GPU is a two-core Mali-G57 GPU. This particular chip is present in many mid-range smartphones with 5G connectivity and powers the POCO M3 Pro 5G. According to reports, the phone will come in 4GB or 6GB RAM variants. Furthermore, there will be 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. We also expect a micro SD card slot that will allow for further memory expansion.

Redmi Note 11E

POCO M4 5G will boast a 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD + resolution. The phone refreshes at 90Hz which is decent. Moving to the back, the phone will bring a dual camera setup. Unfortunately, there will only be a 50MP main camera and a 2MP macro camera. Ultrawide fans won’t have much love from this phone. Anyway, for selfies and video calls, the device offers a modest 5MP shooter.

Unlike its siblings, the phone will come with Android 12 and will run MIUI 13 on top. The phone will derive its power from a 5000 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.

according to ReportsThe phone may just be a rebranded Redmi Note 11E. This variant was launched in Japan earlier this month. The phone will have a waterdrop notch and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. As expected from a budget phone, there is a 3.5mm headphone jack with a plastic body. We expect more details to come out soon.
