Police officers attacked in Alençon: Marine Le Pen denounces the “laxity” of policies and calls into question immigration

Campaigning for the presidential election, Marine Le Pen returned to these favorite themes during her visit to Alençon (Orne) a few days after the police came under firework mortar fire earlier this week. Thirteen vehicles were also set on fire.

“The problem is not police but political”, affirmed the candidate of the National Rally in front of the police station of the city, by denouncing “the laxity of the policies”.

According to her, “95% of street delinquency is the result of immigration, either immigrants, foreigners, or people of immigrant origin”. And to put forward his solution: “We must take this situation into account, not to worsen the situation by stopping immigration rather than continuing to bring in people who find themselves in the cul-de-sac criminogenic”, a- she added.

“Prosecute parents who do not respect their obligations”

Marine Le Pen also pleaded for “being able to prosecute parents who do not respect their obligations”, in particular with regard to article 227-17 of the penal code providing for an offense “punishable by two years in prison”. “It is very high time to implement the application of this article so that parents understand that minors are not allowed at 1 am to throw molotov cocktails” on the police, has t she said.

She even wants to go further. She also proposed “measures to remove the allowances of the families of delinquents”, or to “evict them from social housing” because “there is no longer any reason to show leniency towards those who decay the lives of honest citizens. “

Finally, she pleaded for “morally rearming” the police who should, according to her, benefit from a “presumption of self-defense”.
