Compared to the standard Taycan versions, the high-performance electric sedan has an aerodynamic exterior package with completely new side skirts, front and rear bumpers.
The rear seats are removed and replaced with an anti-roll frame. The car is equipped with aerodynamic 10-spoke alloy wheels with winter tires.
The highlight on this experimental Taycan is the large aerodynamic spoiler installed in the rear luggage compartment lid.
An interesting point on this car is the TDI badging, with a red D and I. This symbol is usually only used on Volkswagen models with high-performance diesel engines.
Currently, the most powerful version Taycan Turbo S is equipped with 2 electric motors arranged at each bridge, producing a maximum capacity of 751 horsepower and maximum torque of 1,050 Nm.
To confront heavyweights like the Tesla Model S Plaid and Lucid Air Sapphire, which have a capacity of over 1,000 horsepower, the Taycan model needs to be equipped with a third electric motor.
Details about the operating system and the launch date of the new model have yet to be announced by Porsche. Some experts predict this Taycan model will be available in the second half of this year.
In Vietnam, Porsche Taycan is officially distributed with 2 variants Sedan and Cross Turismo. The price of this electric car model ranges from VND 4.17 billion to VND 8.27 billion.
