Portuguese GP: Arenas crowned in Moto3, Dupasquier 23rd

(ats) The 23-year-old Spaniard secured his first world title thanks to a 12th place in the GP of Portugal, won by his compatriot Raul Fernandez (KTM).

The “rookie” Jason Dupasquier (KTM) did not sign a feat in the last race of the season, which he approached with an unenviable 30th place on the grid (out of 31 starters). The 19-year-old Friborg driver nonetheless made a nice comeback to rank 23rd.

Jason Dupasquier therefore concludes his first exercise at the highest level without having won a single point but having completed the 15 GP. He narrowly missed the top 15 during the GP of France (17th, less than 1”4 from 15th) and Europe (18th, to 1”2 from 15th).
