The most affordable offer at the moment is the entry-level model of the ASRock Z690 Phantom Gaming 4 motherboard. The novelty, which has received a 9-phase power subsystem, support for DDR4 RAM with a frequency of up to 5000 MHz (via an XMP overclocking profile), as well as one PCIe 5.0 x16 and PCIe 4.0 x16 and three PCIe 3.0 x1 slots, is estimated by the store at $ 180.

ASRock’s most expensive solution at the moment is the ASRock Z690 EXTREME WiFi 6E model. The board also works with up to 5000 MHz DDR4 RAM and is equipped with three PCIe x16 slots for PCIe 5.0, PCIe 4.0 and PCIe 3.0. This fee is priced at $ 290.

The range of MSI motherboards is represented by three models so far: MSI Pro Z690-A DDR4, MSI PRO Z690-A Wi-Fi DDR4 and MSI MPG Z690 CARBON Wi-Fi DDR5. The cost of the first is $ 230. A version of the same board, but with built-in Wi-Fi support, is priced at $ 20 more. The Carbon MPG Series is priced at $ 420. This board offers support for the new DDR5 standard up to 128 GB of RAM, with a frequency of 6666 MHz and higher (via the XMP 3.0 overclocking function), as well as two PCIe 5.0 x16 and one PCIe 3.0 x16 slots.

The assortment of the ASUS company is represented by models of boards costing from 190 to 600 dollars. In the first case, the ASUS Prime Z690M-Plus D4 model is offered for this price in the Micro-ATX form factor with DDR4 support and two PCIe x16 slots. One of them is PCIe 5.0, the second is PCIe 4.0.

The flagship segment is represented by the ROG Maximus Z690 Hero (WiFi 6E). The board received a reinforced 20 + 1-phase power subsystem, supports DDR5 RAM up to 6400 MHz through the XMP 3.0 overclocking profile, offers three PCIe x16 slots, two of which are PCIe 5.0. When two video cards are installed, they work in x8 / x8 mode.

The currently available motherboard models from Gigabyte range in price from $ 200 to $ 470. In the first case, the Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4 model is offered with support for DDR4 RAM and a 19-phase VRM power supply system with a 16 + 1 + 2 scheme. The senior segment is the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master model with a 22-phase VRM power subsystem, built according to the 19 + 1 + 2 scheme, support for DDR5 RAM, four slots for NVMe drives and three PCIe x16 slots, one of which is PCIe x16.
