President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi said that the Egyptian beaches, especially the delta, are vulnerable to a rise in the water level by one or two meters, during the next fifty years, adding: “We can build barriers of 300 kilometers that will cost us billions of pounds to protect the beaches and people.”
President El-Sisi added during the inauguration of the new city of Mansoura: “We do not have water less than 500 cubic meters per person per year.. I need to meet the potential growth in water demand with the growth that will happen to the population, so we can get water for population growth from where?”
