This Monday, March 28, the Congress debated the vacancy motion presidential against peter castle. However, the session was interrupted for the altercations in the Plenary, after the Congresswoman Vivian Olivos (Popular Force) display a banner with the hashtag “vacancy already” from his seat.
Soon, the president of the Board of Directors of the Parliament, Maria del Carmen Alva, asked Olivos to remove his banner. Faced with the refusal of the Fujimori congresswoman – who considers former dictator Alberto Fujimori as the best president in Peruvian history – Alva threatened to suspend the session.
She could well have given her a reprimand in her capacity as president of Congress, as stipulated in the Legislative regulations, as Rosa María Palacios recalled, in the coverage of LR, but she did not.
Immediately afterwards, Alva called a meeting of the Board of Spokespersons. Several minutes after the incident, after the claim of the ruling parliamentarians, the session continued.
Who is Vivian Olivos?
Olivos was born in Lima on January 3, 1987. It is the second time he has worked in Congress, but the first time he has held a position by popular mandate. He participated in the 2021 elections with the number 1 of the Fuerza Popular party and entered the congress with 7,785 valid votes.
She was sentenced for the crime of falsifying documents to the detriment of Congress itself.. The case was alerted by this newspaper when Fuerza Popular made the decision to elect her to assume the presidency of the Agrarian Commission. The sentence is recorded in the resume that Olivos presented before the National Election Jury (JNE). There was no reaction from the Fujimori store or from the other parliamentary groups.
Crime of forgery of documents of the current congresswoman Olivos
The Republic had access to the full text of the judgment. The events date back to 2011. That year, Fujimorism had achieved 37 representatives in Congress.
Leslie Olivos, who was working as a communicator in Huaral at the time, went to work for the Legislature. She thus she consigns it in her resume. Although the information is not complete about the office where she served, this newspaper was able to establish that she worked in the office of the then-Fujimorista parliamentarian Elard Melgar Valdez.
At that time, Olivos was 24 years old and was still studying law at university. Days before entering Parliament to work, he requested a certificate of studies from the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the private university Inca Garcilaso de la Vega. The document was issued on July 20, 2011.
However, the copy was only delivered on September 8, at the request of the Functional Group of Registration and Control of Parliament’s Personnel.
The document presented by the now congresswoman had a modification. The university had accredited that he was in the V cycle. However, she adulterated it so that it would appear in the VIII cycle.
The case was detected and reached the hands of the Public Ministry, which launched an investigation for the crime of falsifying documents to the detriment of Congress. Olivos had not only adulterated a private document, but had also presented it to the Parliament.
At her demonstration, she pleaded not guilty, but acknowledged that she had presented a doctored certificate. She admitted that there was said modification so that she would appear as if she was in the VIII cycle of the race. Along these lines, she said that she had done it “in order to regularize her employment contract.”
On March 4, 2015, Olivos was sentenced to a three-year suspended sentence for the crime of forgery. She also set herself 1,500 soles as a civil compensation payment. The sentence was declared consented on April 13 of the same year.
Two years later, on March 29, 2017, a judge decided to declare the remission of the sentence because Olivos had complied with the rules of conduct and canceled the civil compensation.
What did Pedro Castillo say after the results of the vote?

The opposition to the OAS: from requesting intervention for a false fraud to closing the doors
Representatives of Advance Country, Popular Force and Popular Renewal turned to the Organization of American States (OAS) when they did not agree with the elections, but they were also able to close the doors without foundation.
What happened last Monday, April 28, when the presidential vacancy motion against Pedro Castillo was being evaluated in plenary, confirms this: the congresswoman Patricia Chirinos (Avanza País) beat up the members of the OAS after their folder with supposed grounds for which the head of state was immersed in acts of corruption was rejected by them.
