In the meantime, The Mexican peso gained 0.9% against the US currency, closing below 19.60 units, its strongest level since March 2020. In the last five days, the peso gained 1.4%, being its fourth week of gains in a row and the best in a month.
Secondly, the dollar index, the DXY, which tracks the behavior of the US currency against a basket of the six most important currencies, it has fallen 0.20%, standing at 101,653 units.
