The mood at the Windsors may not be the best right now. Prince Harry (36) and Herzogin Meghan (39, née Meghan Markle) had caused a stir in recent weeks with violent statements against the Royals. Can a baby smooth things over now? Seen on June 4th Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor the light of day in California – and made with it Prinz Charles (72) to the fivefold grandpa. Lilibet Diana: The choice of name pays homage to Harry’s late mom Princess Diana († 36) and the Queen (95). That the Sussexes just got this name for the younger sister of Sohnemann Archie (2) many see it as an offer of peace to the royal family. Prince Harry & Meghan Markle: How will Lilibet Diana’s baptism be?
In addition to Lili and Archie, Charles has three other grandchildren: Prince George (7), Princess Charlotte (6) and Prinz Louis (3), the cute kids from Prince William (38) and his wife Duchess Kate (39, nee Kate Middleton). For the three Cambridge kids, all the milestones in their lives have so far followed the royal protocol. Duchess Kate’s appearances will not be forgotten, shortly after the birth, the baby in her arms, radiantly beautiful, happy William at her side, posing for the photographers in front of the Lindo Wing. The baptisms of George, Charlotte and Louis also took place in royal style, including a group photo in fine thread.
With Lili, as with Harry and Meghan’s firstborn, little Archie, things will probably be a little different. Because the prince and his wife, once “Suits” actress, are no longer active members of the “company”, as the royal family is called. So will the newborn Sussex daughter be baptized quietly?
