Prince Harry indicated that he wanted to leave royal life long before the Megxit

-

Before Prince Harry announced that he would step down next to his wife Meghan Markle as a high-ranking king, Princess Diana’s youngest son had long indicated that he wanted to get out.

Angela Levin, an experienced royal affairs journalist, published a book in 2018 entitled “Harry: A Biography of a Prince” based on her exclusive conversations with the 35-year-old at Kensington Palace prior to his marriage to the American in May 2018 Actress, 38.

Levin accompanied Harry on his many engagements and shadowed him for more than a year.

The British author previously told Fox News that some of the happiest days of his life were in the army – not in the palace. According to the royal family’s website, Harry served in the army for 10 years, rose to the rank of captain, and went on two tours of Afghanistan.

He continues to honor his ministry and promote the support of wounded men and women in adapting to life after an injury.

In 2013, The Guardian reported that Harry, a commander of the most advanced combat helicopter in the army, had fired at the Taliban in ground support operations and rescued injured Afghan and NATO personnel.

“He said to me that he was the happiest in the army because he was just Captain Wales,” said Levin. “He wasn’t Prince Harry. He loved being in Afghanistan. He was brought back because someone leaked out that he was there and it became too dangerous for him and the soldiers.

“He said one of the things he learned is that you can’t do anything really well if you don’t work as a team. He is now very team oriented.”

Harry confessed to Levin, “I’ve spent many years on my heels and I didn’t want to grow up. I felt like I wanted to get out [of The Firm] but then I decided to stay and work out a role for myself. ”

The prince also told Levin that he was devastated after his position in the army was leaked by a magazine and therefore had to be withdrawn quickly for security reasons, the British Daily Mail reported.

“I felt very angry,” Harry admitted. “Being in the army was the best escape I’ve ever had. I felt like I was really accomplishing something. I had a deep understanding of all kinds of people from different backgrounds and felt part of a team. I wasn’t one Prince, I was just Harry. “

According to the point of sale, Harry Levin said he was keen to face new challenges.

“I can do most things with my hands,” he said. “My next challenge is to learn to play the guitar. But I get very excited when I am in front of a computer for a long time. The passion in me, I can pass some of it on to other people … well, everyone I am with – but sometimes I can get too impatient.

“I love seeing people who excel and succeed,” he continued. “If you take care of and take care of younger people, they will blossom. Anyone can do anything if you put your mind to it. You just need passion and faith. If you want to be a success, you have to be a team player. Nobody can do something alone. I was taught that in the army. “

Harry also said that even though he was a king, he didn’t like “feeling like I live in a goldfish bowl”.

“I am determined to live a relatively normal life, and if I’m lucky enough to have children, they can have one,” he said. “We don’t just want to be a group of celebrities, we want to use our role forever.”

“Is there anyone in the royal family who wants to be king or queen?” He asked. “I don’t think so, but we’re going to do our jobs at the right time. We want to make sure that the monarchy endures and is passionate about what it stands for. We believe that the British public and the whole world need such institutions – but it can’t go on like it was done under the Queen. There will be changes and pressure to get it right. Things are moving so fast, mostly due to social media. That’s why we’re modernizing the Monarchy involved. “

Earlier this month, Harry and Markle announced that as senior members of the royal family, they would step back and instead work independently and split their time between the UK and North America.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex said their decision was made “after many months of thought and internal discussion”.

“We opted for a transition this year by creating a progressive new role in this institution,” the couple said on Instagram last week. “We intend to step down as senior members of the royal family to become financially independent and to continue to fully support Her Majesty the Queen. With your encouragement, especially in recent years, we feel ready to make this adjustment.

“We are now planning to balance our time between the UK and North America and continue to honor our commitment to the Queen, the Commonwealth and our patronage,” they added. “This geographical balance allows us to get our son excited about the royal tradition he was born into, while giving our family the space to focus on the next chapter, including the launch of our new charity.”

The couple added that they will continue to work with incumbent Monarch 93, as well as Harry’s father Prince Charles and older brother Prince William.

“We look forward to sharing all the details of this exciting next step in due course as we continue to work with Her Majesty, the Queen, the Prince of Wales, the Duke of Cambridge and all relevant parties. Until then, please accept our deepest thanks Thanks for your support. “

They will keep their royal titles.
