Providing reproductive health services to 877 women in Maghagha villages

Major General Osama El-Qadi, Governor of Minya, affirmed the continuation of the efforts of the Health Directorate in implementing the work of the presidential initiative to provide family planning services and support reproductive health, which was launched by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, to provide medical services and awareness campaigns about the danger of overpopulation.
Dr. Mohamed Nadi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Minya, explained that the Department of Family Planning and Reproductive Health carried out a medical convoy to provide family planning and reproductive health services, which included the villages of (Qafada – Sharona – Der Algernos) in Maghagha Center, during the period from June 23 to June 24, with the aim of providing organization services Family and reproductive health for women in the regions and villages most in need. Family planning and reproductive health services were provided to 877 women during the convoy work.
For her part, Dr. Wafaa Badawi, Director General of the Family Planning Department, said that various family planning methods were disbursed to 475 women, including 342 new and 133 hesitant women, in addition to providing advice to 184 women and following up on a method for 40 women, stressing that 404 cases of children were detected. Conducting educational and awareness seminars on the Corona virus, chronic diseases and breast cancer.
