The Ministry of Public Health reports that on Wednesday, June 9, 2021, there were four deaths due to COVID-19.
The deceased are: a 92-year-old woman, a native of Rawson, who was hospitalized at the Dr. Ventura Lloveras Hospital; a 64-year-old man from Caucete, admitted to the Dr. Guillermo Rawson Hospital; a 53-year-old woman, from Rawson, admitted to the Dr. Marcial Quiroga Hospital; and an 81-year-old man from Rawson, admitted to the Medical Institute.
The Government of San Juan conveys its condolences to relatives, friends and relatives and accompanies them in this painful moment.
It is also reported that until 7:00 p.m. on the date, the following official numbers of coronavirus cases were registered in San Juan:

- Total confirmed: 46,362
- Patients with infectious process: 9,396
- Deaths (accumulated): 779
- Recovered: 36,187
- Negative Tests: 1,090

296 patients are admitted to the COVID-19 areas (between positives and suspects) of the Dr. Guillermo Rawson hospitals; Dr. Marcial Quiroga; Dr. Ventura Lloveras, from Sarmiento; Dr. César Aguilar, from Caucete; Dr. José Giordano, from Albardón; Dr. Federico Cantoni, from Pocito; CEMEC; Dr. Julieta Lanteri; San Roque Hospital, from Jáchal; Dr. Alejandro Albarracín Hospital, from Valle Fértil; Barreal Hospital, Calingasta; Private hospital; Medical Institute; El Castaño Clinic; Santa Clara Clinic; Sanatorio San Juan and CCI.
Of this total, 135 patients remain hospitalized in the Critical Area, 71 of whom are on mechanical ventilation.
Of the total hospitalized in COVID-19 areas, three are pregnant patients and five are confirmed pediatric COVID-19 patients.
