The world mourns the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the beloved Queen of the United Kingdom, on the 8th. Major foreign media have recently reviewed the Queen’s life, and her humorous and warm image has become more deeply rooted in people’s hearts. A little girl from Victoria, Australia, was grieved by the sad news of the Queen’s death. Miraculously, the next day she received a letter from (Balmoral Castle) from Balmoral Castle. It turned out that the Queen was there. In a letter written to herself two weeks before her death, the girl’s mother, Natalie Akers, believes that this may be the last letter the Queen wrote during her lifetime.

Olivia Akers, from Tallygaroopna in northern Victoria, sent a letter to Queen Elizabeth II in June with a photo of herself dressed as the queen in a drag contest.

Her mother, Natalie Akers, said Olivia was dressed in military uniform and rode her pony named “Lady” at the parade “on behalf of the Queen”. “Olivia sent her letter in June and kept asking: ‘Have we heard back from the Queen?'”.

When the family heard the tragic news of the Queen’s passing, they thought the reply would never come.

The next day, the post office clerk told Natalie Akers, “You got a very special mail today,” and she excitedly rushed to her daughter’s school with the letter.

The mysterious letter was sent from Balmoral Castle and was ghostwritten by Annabel Whitehead, the Queen’s personal maid. I was moved and expressed my interest in this photo. The date at the end of the letter was August 25, which is two weeks before the Queen’s death.

Natalie Akers said that we were all a little surprised to receive such a special letter, “this may be her last letter”. She also pointed out that the letter was very beautiful, and Olivia’s classmates rushed to read it.

“I’m sure Olivia will cherish this letter for the rest of her life,” she lamented.
