Ubisoft’s shooter presents its changes for years 5 and 6
Rainbow Six Siege is in its fifth year. Casually, we are in the middle of a decade for a game that is still growing in popularity. Despite a halftone launch, R6S is in better shape than ever and always offers more content to its audience. Yesterday we presented you the novelties of the first season of year 5. Today, Ubisoft unveils even more with its program for years 5 and 6!
First of all, you should know that year 5 will be a kind of hybrid year. In fact, if the first two seasons will be similar to the previous one, the changes will start in the third season. There will now only be one operator per season. This choice allows developers to focus on in-depth gameplay changes. The studio clearly shows a desire to involve the players more during the preparation and support phases. But also rework the cards, create or refine content.
The operators will also be greatly modified. For year 5 this will be the case for Tachanka with changes that should appeal to players.
On the events side, we will have to count on the arrival of Arcade Playlists. These micro-events only available on weekends will be an opportunity to renew interest. The first announced is Golden Gun. Each player has a golden Desert Eagle but only one bullet per magazine. So you have to be careful.
Finally also count on the presence of Map Ban and the arrival of a reputation system among others.
