The Ralph Lauren Corporate Foundation has donated $ 10 million to the coronavirus crisis that is currently pervading the world. The money goes directly to the workers and communities involved in the pandemic.

“There has always been a spirit of togetherness at the heart of our company that inspires our creativity, our trust and above all our mutual support,” said Ralph Lauren. “This spirit has never waned in the past few weeks and months. We believe that we are all connected, no matter who you are or where you come from, so we are taking important measures to help our teams and communities in this crisis.”

The donation will help improve the situation in a number of ways, including: providing Emergency Assistance Foundation grants to needy Ralph Lauren colleagues, contributing to the World Health Organization’s Covid-19 Solidarity Response Fund, and helping cancer patients in this vulnerable time existing Pink Pony Fund, supporting A Common Thread (a fundraiser) to help American fashion designers who suffer financially from the Fallout Covid-19, and eventually manufacture 25,000 dresses and 250,000 masks.

Ralph Lauren has followed in the footsteps of a number of other fashion companies who have either donated money directly, donated a percentage of sales, or used their supply chains to make hand sanitizers or personal protective equipment for doctors, nurses, and other healthcare workers at the front.
