The national company Royal air Maroc announced on Wednesday that it is launching from February 12, its new direct line Paris-Dakhla, in collaboration with the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT).
“Thanks to this new air route, the national company will link, for the first time, the European continent (with the exception of the Canary Islands) to the city of Dakhla, in less than 04:30 flight”, indicates a press release from RAM reached Yabiladi.
The press release explains that the ONMT has chosen to activate this route with Royal Air Maroc in order to involve the national company in this significant tourist niche for the revival of the sector. “Royal Air Maroc has always supported Moroccan tourism. In these times of crisis, it is necessary to work together to revive this strategic sector for our country. This new direct line will allow international visitors to benefit from the city of Dakhla and the Morocco experience as soon as they board in Paris, ”said Hamid Addou, CEO of Royal Air Maroc, quoted in the press release.
Thus, two frequencies per week are offered: Tuesday and Friday. Flights from Paris are scheduled at 9:45 a.m. (local time), arriving in Dakhla at 2:25 p.m. (local time), while flights from Dakhla are scheduled at 3:25 p.m. (local time) for an arrival in Paris at 7:45 p.m. (local hour).
With days and flight times adapted to the needs of travelers, this link will strengthen and facilitate the connection between France, a major tourist source market and Dakhla, a popular tourist destination, the press release concludes.
