SANTA CLARA, California (AP) – Kendrick Bourne, the 49er recipient of San Francisco 49, signed his one-year free agent bid on Monday.
The 49ers ran a second $ 3.259 million bid for Bourne last month. This gave the Niners the right to match any contract offer Bourne had received, or in return to get a selection for the second round.
Bourne had 30 catches for 358 yards and five TDs for San Francisco last season. He scored his first defeats in 23 of his 30 catches. He also had six catches for 88 yards and a TD in three playoff games.
Bourne joined the league in 2017 as an unoccupied free agent from East Washington. He has 88 catches for 1,102 yards and nine TDs in 43 career games.
The 49ers also placed a bid for the second round when they ran back Matt Breida. Breida has not yet signed his offer.
