Red Bull F1 Representative “I want to support female drivers connected to F1″[F1-Gate .com]

Christian Horner, Red Bull Racing’s F1 team representative, explained how Red Bull wants to support young female drivers through its rank in F1.

The W series, which is a single-seater series exclusively for women, has entered its third season this year and continues to expand. As a support race for F1, more races will be held in the 2022 season than ever before, and it will be broadcast under a multi-year contract with Sky Sports.

Christian Horner says he is pleased to see the growth of the W Series and the growing interest in F1 among young girls.
“I think the W Series is a great initiative,” Christian Horner told the media, including RacingNews365.com.

“Still very young, evolving, growing and hopefully attracting more and more girls to the race.”

“What we really need is more girls in the grassroots of the race. If you look at the effects of Netflix, I think it’s affecting the sport. You can see that the demographics of F1 followers are changing.”

“I hope more young women become aware of Formula 1 and become interested in it, which encourages their participation.”

Christian Horner believes that the level of talent always wins in F1, regardless of the driver’s gender.

“Of course, the entrance to motorsport is the cart,” explained Christian Horner.

“Of course, I think there is always a debate about whether girls should compete with boys. Should they slide into two separate competitions like in other sports?”

“I don’t think there should be a barrier to penetrating F1 if the talent is strong enough, as we are all very selfish individuals.”

“We are looking for the best drivers, regardless of background, gender, etc. If the W Series helps develop young talent that leads to F3 or F2 and ultimately F1, it’s certainly positive. Thing”

In terms of what Red Bull could do to help female drivers rank up, Christian Horner says he hopes the team will support new talent in the future.

“As for Red Bull’s involvement, we’ve sponsored and assisted girls in the past, but we’ll do so in the future,” said Christian Horner.

“It’s just a matter of identifying the talents we want to support through our scouting system.”

Some of the W Series stars are already playing a role in the F1 team. Two-time champion Jamie Chadwick is a member of the Williams Driver Academy and Jessica Hawkins is an ambassador for the Aston Martin F1 team.

From this year, 16-year-old Juju Noda, the daughter of former F1 driver Hideki Noda, is participating in the W Series.
