Red Magic 6 Pro battery capacity and fast charging are known

Red Magic 6, the newest flagship gaming smartphone from Nubia will be announced in the first week of March. The device will pack new features including an upgraded cooling fan. However, unlike its predecessor, the Red Magic 6 will not come alone as the latest leak says there will be a Pro model.

The leaks have also revealed the battery capacity and fast charging technology of this second model which will be launched as the Red Magic 6 Pro. According to the Digital Chat Station, the Red Magic 6 Pro will support 120W fast charging.

Of course, having 120W fast charging, the Red Magic 6 Pro will be a flagship gaming smartphone that can attract the attention of many people. Because besides being faster than its competitors, charging a battery with a capacity of 4,500 mAh only takes 5 minutes to charge up to 50%.

In comparison, the Mi 10 Ultra, which also supports 120W fast charging, charges a 4,500 mAh battery capacity up to 41% in 5 minutes. IQOO 5 Pro, another smartphone with 120W fast charging support, takes 5 minutes to charge the battery up to 50% but has a smaller capacity, which is 4,000 mAh.

Although Nubia’s claims are very impressive, it is better to wait for real-world reviews as it is possible that the charging speed is not that fast. Because many factors can influence it, from cables to the charger head used, of course.

Fortunately, consumers who later buy the Red Magic 6 Pro can immediately try the 120W fast charging technology offered by Nubia. Because the Digital Chat Station says that the smartphone will be sold by including a 120W GaN charger head in the sales box.

As already mentioned, Red Magic 6 Pro will be announced on March 4th. This smartphone will have a screen with a 144Hz refresh rate and a 480Hz touch sampling rate. For both the vanilla and Pro models, they will arrive with the Snapdragon 888 chipset. The vanilla model is expected to arrive with 66W fast charging.
