It is a large-scale project that is heating up the spirits and which will profoundly change the town of Grand-Saconnex: the area of ​​Place Carantec, which currently consists of a car park as well as a few shops and housing, must be completely redeveloped. .

The site will host a meeting area, four buildings ranging from four to nine floors, with 4000 m² for activities, a communal hall, public spaces and 295 housing units – the Commune is building 100, some of which are reserved for students and seniors, the insurer Swiss Life 195. Rents are controlled by the State. Added to all this is the future Nations-Grand-Saconnex-Ferney tram.
