The Redmi K50 smartphone is expected to be launched in China in February. The teaser says that the new smartphone will have a dual steam chamber. It will offer liquid-cooling heat dissipation at twice the power in a super-large area. The announcement confirms that the Redmi K50 Series will arrive with support for 120 watts fast charging similar to the Xiaomi 11T Pro smartphone. It packs a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC and a 4,700 mAh battery.
The front of the smartphone has a punch-hole cutout and the rectangular camera module has a triple rear camera mount. The leaked claims that the upcoming Redmi K50 will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED display that will run in full-HD + resolution. It will support 120 Hz refresh rate. It packs Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC paired with dual VC liquid-cooled heat.
In terms of optics, it may have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera and a 13-megapixel OV13B10 (OmniVision) ultra-wide-angle camera. The third sensor can be either a 2-megapixel GC02M1 or an 8-megapixel OV08A10 macro camera. It is expected to ship with Android 12 out of the box. The rest of the details have not yet been revealed.
