Available from us for a few months, the Redmi Note 9 and Redmi Note 9 Pro are about to be rolled out in a 5G version. At least in India and China, where the Xiaomi subsidiary will make announcements to this effect on November 26.
The idea is obviously to compete with realme, OnePlus or others who are numerous to have already launched 5G smartphones at discounted prices.
In addition, in China where the release of the Redmi Note 9 had been delayed, it now seemed suicidal to launch new 4G smartphones. Hence this upgrading which, perhaps, will arrive in our latitudes under another name.
Affordable 5G and 120Hz display
The Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G have already delivered all their secrets thanks to a recent appearance in the listings of TENAA, the certification body for Chinese telecom equipment.
The Redmi Note 9 will benefit from a 6.53 “LCD screen (20: 9, Full HD +), punched to integrate a 13 megapixel camera. At the rear, three sensors share the spotlight, including the main module 48 megapixels Finally Redmi has placed under the hood a SoC Dimensity 800U from MediaTek, accompanied by 4 to 8 GB of RAM, 64 to 256 GB of storage, and a 4900 mAh battery (22.5W recharge).
