Referring 14 employees of the “Car Parks Department” in Dammam to the security authorities

The Eastern Region Municipality referred 14 employees of a parking management company and the organization of vehicle movement to the security authorities, after a number of them were monitored by placing a lock on the violating vehicles in the parking lots.

The district secretary, M. Fahd Al-Jubeir, said that a number of comments were made regarding the company’s previous dealings, after noticing some shortcomings.

Shortcomings in the contracts

He mentioned the presence of several observations and complaints received from beneficiaries who face problems in organizing smart paid parking in the region, explaining that the goal of the paid parking project is to organize car parking in public places; Seeking to find appropriate and innovative solutions to develop the service in order to improve the beneficiary’s experience.
