In the middle of the corona crisis, the latest edition of the “Relax Guide” was published, and the testers gave the wellness hotels in the country a very good rating. Despite the adverse circumstances, most of the hotels were not only able to maintain their standard, but 21 hotels have improved in some cases considerably compared to the previous year.
One of the big winners is the Weissenhaus Grand Village Resort in Schleswig-Holstein. Another fact is particularly gratifying: “Not a single Lilien hotel had to close due to the effects of the crisis,” says Christian Werner, the editor of the “Relax Guide 2021“. The wellness guide was published for the 20th time this year.
Up to 20 points and four lilies as an award
As always, the guidebook only includes houses that are rated with at least 13 out of a maximum of 20 points. Of the more than 1200 pre-selected wellness hotels, only around twelve percent were awarded at least one lily. The best houses can get up to four lilies.
“This time, in view of the corona pandemic, the assessment also included hygiene and prevention measures. Lilien hotels are therefore not only of high quality, but also safe,” said Werner.
On the following pages of the photo series, we present all the hotels that scored three lilies (“excellent”) and four lilies (“top hotel” at 19 points, “top rating” at 20 points) in the ranking.
