Update from July 2nd, 2022, 8:50 a.m.: We are at the beginning of a new month – in other words: almost all relevant dealers are now interesting again. Sony has been in a generous mood for 3 months now and is constantly pushing fresh consoles to numerous retailers, although there are currently no signs of anything changing.
In general, this is a good sign for July – but above all for OTTO. Because OTTO is one of the four largest and most important replenishment brands here in Germany, along with MediaMarkt, Saturn and Amazon. So the probability is high that there will be new sales campaigns here in July – possibly several again. In short: OTTO will be exciting again from the beginning of next week and should be closely monitored.

Update from 06/30/2022, 09:30 a.m.: Even if OTTO likes to drop on Thursdays, things should stay quiet there today. The replenishment guarantor has already sold the PS5 3x in June. It is rather unlikely that there will be a fourth replenishment on the last day of June in the end of the month. We assume that OTTO won’t be hot again until July.
