Resistance in the project of Imam al-Sadr!!

After 44 speeches, you see today’s speech as the first speech after the disappearance of Imam al-Sadr, and the promises today are the same as in the first speech. These speeches did not affect the realization of Imam al-Sadr’s visions, nor any of his national goals that cross the borders of regions and sects, especially his visions and sermons in building the state, maintaining the state and emphasizing national belonging.

The celebrations ended with the anniversary of the disappearance of Imam Al-Sayyid Musa Al-Sadr, who had gone missing for 44 years, and we listened to the speech No. 44 of President Nabih Berri on this painful occasion, which was intended to be just a memory of the speeches and the issuance of positions and an occasion for political exploitation too much, so it was far from Musa Al-Sadr’s thought, approach and project and vision.

Imam Musa al-Sadr was unique among the Lebanese (Shiite) clerics as the only one who was the owner of an integrated project and a clear and stable vision. He did not separate the political effort from the social effort, nor did he separate his project against the Israeli occupation from the Lebanese reality and the reality of the Lebanese, especially the Shiite environment, and sought in parallel to reconcile between The jihadist project and the social effort did not give the resistance over other people’s affairs and crises, so the people in Imam al-Sadr’s vision were the cornerstone in building the resistance against the occupation. The priority is the social affairs and the maintenance of the internal situation. He said his famous words: “Protecting civil peace is more important than resisting the Israeli occupation.”

Certainly, the imam was the first to call for resistance to the Israeli occupation, the first to establish this resistance, and the first theorist of resistance action in Lebanon, and he made the resistance in his time a general national project, but he did not put it ahead of others. And a servant and evidence of that many.

Today, after 44 speeches, they only took what they wanted from Imam al-Sadr, just as they took only the resistance and the slogans of the resistance. As for the idea of Imam al-Sadr in building the state, in reform, and in fighting corruption, it is completely absent, intentionally or unintentionally.

The resistance in the project of Imam al-Sadr was at the lowest priority, and he did not prioritize it over other affairs of society and people, nor did he prioritize it over political action and the state-building project, because the resistance is an inseparable extension of the people, the strong state, and clear policies.
