On New Year’s Eve, the artillerymen are in the square and Geneva is booming
There was a crowd this Saturday morning on the Treille to celebrate, to the sound of cannon, the regained independence of December 31, 1813.
The last time gunshots were heard in Geneva was two weeks ago, during the Christmas Cup. A starter, standing on his lake barge, sent whitewater swimmers to the lake in successive waves. A 9mm pistol.
