SABIC honors the winners of its annual national award to promote mental health
SABIC honored the winners of the “SABIC National Award for the Promotion of Mental Health”, in a ceremony organized by the company yesterday, Sunday, at its headquarters in Riyadh, as an embodiment of its social responsibility strategy and programs in the field of health, coinciding with the World Mental Health Day.
The “SABIC” National Award for the Promotion of Mental Health, organized in partnership with the National Center for Mental Health Promotion, contributes to reaching a healthy community whose members enjoy good mental health and a better life, through four main tracks of the award, which are: The path of educational awareness programs in health The path of initiatives and projects to improve the performance of mental health services, the path of community initiatives to promote mental health and rapid response to the effects of the Corona pandemic, and the path of scientific production in the field of mental health and the effects associated with the Corona pandemic.
On this occasion, Mr. Faisal Al-Buhair, Vice President of SABIC Affairs, said that the “SABIC National Award for Mental Health Promotion is one of our societal contributions to achieving the goals of “Saudi Vision 2030”, towards a vibrant society. We will also continue to work through our strategy Social responsibility and its programs in the field of health support everything that achieves our mission in this framework (together for healthy and prosperous societies).
from his side; Dr. Abdel Hamid Al Habib, General Supervisor of the National Center for Mental Health Promotion, confirmed that “the (SABIC) Award aims to support and encourage creativity and initiatives in the field of mental health promotion, motivate governmental and private mental health facilities to improve the level of services, and disseminate best practices and experiences at the national level. In addition to spreading the spirit of competition between workers and mental health service providers, and honoring individuals and entities supporting programs to promote community mental health.”
