The Egyptian actress, Rogina, described the Cairo Drama Festival as a wedding for all artists, noting that the Syndicate of Acting Professions celebrates its stars, and everyone who presented a dramatic work.
Rogina commented on the honors of the great stars in the first session of the festival by saying: “Honoring the great art symbols such as Salah Al-Saadani, Safia Al-Omari and others, it is not important that it is late for them, but the important thing is that when the Syndicate set up a drama festival, they got their right. Honor from many other sides does not mean anything in front of honoring Syndicate”.
And the actress added about honoring the star Salah Al-Saadani: “I presented with him many works, and I learned a lot from him because he is a great technical school. Everyone who worked with him studied at his hands and learned a lot.”
As for Maryam, daughter of the artist Rogina, who appeared with her for the first time in an artistic event, she talked about her mother’s work, saying: “The roles that have been affected the most by my mother’s work is her role in the series “Deviation.” Her mother commented: “My daughter is studying acting at the American University.”
Rogina is participating in the Ramadan 2023 drama in a new series called “Sitham”, written by Nasser Abdel Rahman, and directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz.
She appeared in the last Ramadan season in the series “Deviation”, along with Lucy, Samiha Ayoub, Ahmed Safwat, Abdel Aziz Makhyoun and many artists, and it was written by Mostafa Chehayeb and directed by Raouf Abdel Aziz.
