Ring of Honor Wrestling on SBG #478
Ort: Baltimore, Maryland, USA
US premiere: November 14, 2020
The show starts with a video package for La Faccion Ingobernable. Amy Rose says the world has changed, but the grouping should not be forgotten. Rush is the ROH World Champion and Dragon Lee is the ROH Television Champion. When they return, ROH will be theirs again. The opening video follows before Quinn McKay gets us in the mood for today’s issue. She also watches the show with us last week when Brody King won a win over Dalton Castle.
A video now puts us in the mood for the first match, the Briscoes will meet the Soldiers Of Savagery. The commentators Ian Riccaboni and Caprice Coleman also welcome us to today’s show, EC3 has joined them for the first match of the evening.
Tag Team Match
The Briscoes (Jay Briscoe & Mark Briscoe) won against The Soldiers Of Savagery (Bishop Khan & Malcolm Moses) via pin to Malcolm Moses through Mark Briscoe after the Froggy Bow.
Match time: 09:41
The teams then shake hands fairly. On the way out of the hall, the Briscoes have some trash talk in the direction of EC3.
Another video package deals with Matt Taven and Bateman, who will meet next week. Bateman sees Taven as a coward, while Taven declares that he will take revenge on Vincent as soon as he is through with Bateman.
Backstage, the Briscoes are interviewed by Quinn McKay. Mark says they don’t care about EC3, their goal is the ROH Tag Team Championship. Jay Briscoe is meanwhile not finished with EC3 and challenges him to a match in the next week. Mark wants his older brother to focus on their goal, but Jay wants EC3 out of the way first.
In the next video the opponents of today’s main event will be highlighted with Shane Taylor and Kenny King. Taylor talks about his career so far and admits that Kenny King was a huge influence on him. They know each other very well and a win would bring him closer to the ROH World Championship. Kenny King also has a say. He complains about his recent defeats, which he believes were not fair. King also has words of praise for his opponent today, but he’s not yet ready to drop his spot at the top.
Shane Taylor won against Kenny King via pin after the Welcome To The Land.
Match time: 10:14
Kenny King offers Shane a handshake after the match, but Shane slaps the hand away and hugs him instead. Ian Riccaboni is hyping the Matt Taven vs. Bateman and Jay Lethal vs. LSG before the show comes to an end with a partying Shane Taylor.
