Ronaldo passes medical tests to join Manchester United

The Portuguese international, Cristiano Ronaldo, completed medical examinations in Lisbon earlier this week in preparation for his return to his former team, Manchester United, and that he agreed to the personal terms of a two-year contract with the English Premier League club, Sky Sports television said on Monday.
United, led by Norwegian coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, announced last week that it had reached an agreement to sign former player Ronaldo, 36, from Juventus, Italy.
The current summer transfer period in the English Premier League ends at 22:00 GMT on Tuesday.
The television network said that the amount of the deal is approximately 15 million euros (17.70 million dollars), in addition to additional amounts of up to eight million euros.
Because of the upcoming international break, Ronaldo is expected to play his first match with his new team on September 11 against Newcastle United in the English Premier League.
During his first spell with United, which lasted six seasons between 2003 and 2009, Ronaldo won eight major titles with the club, in addition to the Ballon d’Or award for the best player in the world in 2008, before joining Real Madrid for a record amount of 80 million pounds ($110.1 million). .
