After attending Victor Wembanyama’s second game of Metropolitans 92, Rudy Gobert played his first preseason game with the Minnesota Timberwolves, against the Los Angeles Lakers (who did not field LeBron James). Chris Finch’s players made the difference in the second quarter to finally win 114 to 99. It must be said that Rudy Gobert did the job, he who accumulated 5 points at 2/4 on shots, 12 rebounds (all taken in the first half), 3 assists and 2 steals in 17 minutes. In short, a successful first.

In other encounters, Olivier Sarr had 9 3/4 points on shots, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 4 blocks in 14 minutes in the Portland TrailBlazers’ victory over Israeli second division team Maccabi Raanana (138-35), who lined up Norris Cole (19 points) and Jason Siggers (12 points).
