The ban targets both trucks carrying out commercial transport between EU countries and Russia, as well as those in transit or the entry of European trucks from third countries.
The exclusion also applies to British, Norwegian and Ukrainian trucks. According to the document published on Saturday, the ban will be applicable until December 31, 2022.
The EU banned Russian trucks from its territory on April 8 already because of the invasion of Ukraine by the Kremlin army.
