The company “Sollers Auto” announced a halt in the supply of parts to factories for the production of Ford and Mazda vans in Russia, writes Newspaper.ru.
“As a result of changes in the geopolitical situation, there are difficulties with the supply of imported components, as well as threats of cyber attacks. In this regard, the supply of components to the joint ventures Sollers Ford and Mazda Sollers has been suspended.
To date, negotiations are underway to resume supplies, but their outcome is still unclear. However, the company does not believe that international economic pressure on the Russian Federation is the reason for curtailing business activity in Russia, since the company is focused on the domestic market.
Sollers net profit under IFRS for the last year amounted to 2.43 billion rubles. The company’s turnover increased to 91.71 billion rubles (plus 39%).
