The public will be able to discover it on the occasion ofa prevention village on place Jean Jaurès and a conference/round table day at La Comète this Friday. Audition groups organized in Saint-Etienne
This plan will be based in particular on a pre-report drawn up by Professor Franck Chauvin, President of the High Council for Public Health (HCSP) and Director of Prevention and Population Health at the Saint-Étienne University Hospital. “We will organize in the next few months 8 groups of hearings with doctors, associations, elected representatives of the majority and the opposition… to define concrete actions“, explains Patrick Michaud, Deputy Mayor in charge of Health and the Cancer Plan. The themes will focus in particular on addictions, physical activity, diet, precariousness, infections, social and professional reintegration… For those who were unable to participate in these hearings, an online platform will collect their testimonies and opinions.
Concrete actions in the city
Then, the Saint-Etienne municipality can decide, for example, to limit smoking in parks, in front of schools, on sports grounds… where encourage even more sporting practices in the city. Initiatives that could be put into practice from the beginning of 2023.
