The catholic saints honors today, october 15 a Saint Teresa of Jesus, also known as Saint Teresa of Avila.

Born in 1515 and baptized as Teresa Sánchez from Cepeda Dávila and Ahumada, founded the order of the Discalced Carmelites plus 16 other convents in just 20 years.

Santa Teresa is known for her mystical visions and experiences which their confessors qualify as imaginary or even as the work of the devil. It is considered, along with Saint John of the Cross, the pinnacle of Christian experimental mysticism.
