Sassuolo and Roma put pressure on Milan

Sassuolo, provisionally first after his victory at Hellas Verona (2-0), and AS Rome, brilliant against Parma (3-0), put pressure on AC Milan, leader on borrowed time before his trip, on Sunday in the evening in Naples.

Inter Milan, it still suffered a lot but once again found the resources to reverse a compromised situation against Torino (4-2), during this 8th day of Serie A.

The Interists, without ideas for an hour, still waited to be led 2-0 to deploy their firepower and rely on the essential Romelu Lukaku, author of a double (7 goals since the start of the season), and Lautaro Martinez, off the bench to seal the victory.

Three days before a capital match in the Champions League against Real Madrid, Antonio Conte still has some concerns to be made in view of the recurring difficulties of the Nerazzurri, a magnificent jet engine but with too often sluggish starts.

Sassuolo, the nice surprise of the fall in Serie A, for his part temporarily settled in the leader’s chair by winning in Verona thanks to a magnificent goal from Jérémie Boga and a powerful strike from his fit man, Domenico Berardi.

Jostled by Parma (who has touched the amounts several times) but still undefeated, the Neroverdi have a point ahead of Milan, before the Rossoneri match in Naples, and AS Rome, which also continues its good momentum .

The Giallorossi, unbeaten for ten games now (in all competitions) since their initial defeat in the league, on the green carpet due to an administrative blunder, only needed half time to bring a weak team in line from Parma.

In the absence of the official goalscorer Edin Dzeko (due to Covid-19), Henrikh Mkhitaryan offered himself a double (5 goals scored in the league) and Borja Maroyal (on loan from Real Madrid) opened his league counter.
