In the name of Souq Al-Sal, Deira has prepared a commercial and cultural meeting center of ancient Arabia and modern Arabia. Foreign tourists visiting the country have the opportunity to experience the ancient ways of life and the craftsmanship of various products in the souq.

Tourists first come to Deera Souq to get a closer look at Saudi’s unique culture. Deera is one of the few markets where Oud, a symbol of Arab culture and heritage, perfumes, carpets, rings and Arab clothing are available.
Established in 1901, Deera Souq is not only a commercial center but also a gathering place. There are also business establishments here that have been operating for more than half a century. The specialty of this place is the auction of antiques on Fridays and Saturdays. The souq also hosts many seasonal programs, including music using the oud, an Arab instrument, and Arda, a folk dance.
