Saudi Arabia announcement to be made on Monday, Biden warns

US President Joe Biden said on Saturday that an announcement would be made on Saudi Arabia on Monday in connection with the US intelligence report claiming that Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman approved the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi. Asked about possible retaliatory measures against the prince, Joe Biden replied: “There will be an announcement on Monday on what we are going to do with Saudi Arabia in general.”

According to a CIA report declassified by the White House on Friday, Mohammed bin Salman approved the operation to capture or kill journalist Jamal Khashoggi.
