Lawyer Ahmed Mahran said that the incident of accusing a wife of adultery with an official of the Football Association is expected to take 3 tracks.
He explained, in statements to Masrawy, that the prosecution is scheduled to request investigations of the investigations into the validity of the incident, and to request hearing the statements of the wife (the complainant) and the husband (the complainant), and to examine the video by a specialized committee from radio and television.
Mahran said, in statements to Masrawy, that the husband (the complainant) plays football in the regions and introduced his wife to the Football Association official, so that he would play it with him.
He added that the husband (the complainant) discovered the incident of his wife’s adultery (the complainant) a month and a half ago by chance. He explained that the wife was visiting her family, and the husband found in the cupboard a photo album containing a “memory card” and, playing it, watched a sex video of his wife with a Football Association official.
He explained that throughout the last period he tried to reach his wife, but her family hid her whereabouts from him, so he resorted to the Public Prosecution by filing a complaint.
Lawyer Ahmed Mahran submitted a report to the Public Prosecutor accusing a football official of the crime of adultery with his client’s wife.
“Mahran” said in his communication, which bore No. 55399 of 2022, that the husband – his client – found a “flash” containing a video clip in which the wife appeared with the football official committing an “act of adultery” inside an apartment in the Azbakeya neighborhood.
The communication called for legal action to be taken against the defendants. He noted that Article 274 of the Penal Code stipulates that a married woman whose adultery is proven to be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding two years, and the partner of the adulterer shall be punished with the same penalty prescribed in accordance with the text of Article 275 of the Penal Code.
The author continued: “In our concern for the husband’s right to file a criminal case in defense of honor and honour, and the lack of mixing of lineages, and in defense of moral, social and religious values, we demand an investigation of what happened.”
