DoubleVerify (DV), a leading software platform for digital media measurement, data and analytics, today announced that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Scibids Technology SAS (Scibids), a global leader in campaign optimization using AI.
The acquisition of Scibids is valued at $125 million, with additional potential consideration based on performance criteria. The transaction is expected to be finalized during the third quarter of 2023.
The acquisition strengthens DV’s leadership position in real-time campaign optimization.
It will enable the company to combine its trusted media quality and performance data, including insights, context and attention, with Scibids’ proven AI technology and real-time optimization algorithms. .
This joint offering, the first of its kind, allows DV to cover the end-to-end media transaction, from activation to measurement to distribution, and allows advertisers to optimize their campaigns in real time, without having to use of third-party cookies.
Importantly, the acquisition moves DV from the realm of approximating performance to achieving key performance indicators and tangible business results, fully aligned with advertisers’ objectives.
