Alexander Schwarzenegger of Germany advanced to the second semi-final in Paris after overcoming the challenge of Carlos Alcaraz of Spain in a four-set battle. Swarovski’s tired of having to surrender to Alcസraz in last month’s Madrid Masters final. This is the fifth time in his career that Swarev has reached the semifinals of a Grand Slam tournament.
Alcraz, who has won four major tournaments this year, dug himself into 56 avoidable errors during the competition. While Swarovski dominated the first two sets, Alcaraz returned in the decisive third set. In the fourth set, which was decided by a tiebreaker, Alcaraz fought with Veer, but the victory went to Swarovski. Swarovski’s response after the match that the time was not far off when Alcraz defeated us all and that the goal was to win the title before then was a testament to the Spanish player’s excellence.
