The award recognizes Seema’s work in the field of charity
Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala Art Lovers Association ‘Kala’ has awarded the first Mother Teresa Award to film serial star Seema G Nair for being a role model in the field of social welfare. Governor Arif Mohammad Khan will present the award at a ceremony at the Raj Bhavan on September 21. The award carries a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a plaque and a citation.
The award is in recognition of Seema’s philanthropic work. Seema will be presented with the award on the 41st day of her departure from the clutches of Seema’s compassion and care, despite her selfless work to save the life of actress Saranya. This is a coincidence, ”said Sunil Joseph Kuzhampala, EM Radha and Lalu Joseph, patrons of Kala.
Seema is an actress who has acted in more than a thousand plays in addition to excelling in the film industry.
