The Ottawa Senators awarded forward Micheal Haley a two-part contract on Friday.
The 34-year-old veteran will get $ 700,000 if he plays in the National Hockey League (NHL) and $ 200,000 if he plays in the American Hockey League (AHL).

Last year, Haley wore the New York Rangers uniform. He scored one goal in 22 games.
During his long career, the Ontarian has also been in the organizations of the New York Islanders, San Jose Sharks and Florida Panthers.
The center has played a total of 270 games in the NHL, recording 11 goals and 21 assists for 32 points. He also received 687 penalty minutes.
