Separ donates a functional exploration team to La Palma

The Spanish Society of Pulmonology and Thoracic Surgery (Separ) has provided a new team of erespiratory functional examination to the Health Area of ​​La Palma. Committed to the health of the population and to the health professionals of La Palma, Separ Fundación Respira, through SeparSolidaria, delivered this Monday to the Pneumology Unit of General Hospital of La Palma of this equipment donated by the Spanish medical equipment marketer Hospital Hispania and the manufacturing company, Jaeger-Vyasis.

The new equipment will allow diagnostic tests such as spirometriesthe capacity of lung Diffusion, lung volumes and airway resistance, among other tests that will allow, for example, to know exactly what CO2 deficits the studied lung has. It is also useful for diagnosing cardiovascular pathologies.
