Abitibi-Témiscamingue has seven new cases of Covid-19 for the day of Thursday.
Of this number, four are in Abitibi-Ouest, two in the MRC of Abitibi and one in the Vallée-de-l’Or.
The source of exposure of one of these cases is unknown, while the other six are linked to cases already known.
There are 49 people still carrying the virus here.
Five people are still hospitalized and three of them are in intensive care.
The CISSS is also announcing the resumption of blood tests in CLSCs in rural areas for the MRCs of Abitibi and Abitibi-Ouest thanks to the return to work of retired nurses.
In Témiscamingue, all services are resumed.
Caroline Roy, CEO of CISSS-AT says that resuming activities in other territories remains a priority.
