Seven people injured in Arequipa after attacks against Keiko Fujimori’s caravan

Seven people were injured after the attacks against the caravan of vehicles that accompanied the presidential candidate of Fuerza Popular, Keiko Fujimori, after leaving the Alfredo Rodríguez Ballón airport, in Arequipa.

Young people have lesions on the face and hands. One of the people ended up with a bloody head from a falling stone. In addition, three vehicles ended up with broken windows.

Those affected indicated that the people who demonstrated against the Fujimori candidate and who threw stones and garbage would be part of the game of Pedro Castillo.

One person was transferred to the Yanahuara Hospital, while the rest of the attacked youths presented the complaint at the Cerro Colorado Police Station.

CONDEMN VIOLENCE

Given what happened, the applicant Keiko Fujimori rejected the “acts of violence” against her and her supporters in the city of Arequipa.
