The retired actress revealed Shams al-Baroudi Behind the scenes and the truth of the recently circulated video, in which she appears, accompanied by her husband, the great artist Hassan Youssef, her sister and her nephew, while they are in a famous restaurant in Imbaba.
Al-Baroudi said in exclusive statements to “The Seventh Day” that this video was filmed more than a year ago, when the engineer Abdel Rahman, the son of her sister Hana, invited them to this restaurant on the occasion of her wedding anniversary, the artist Hassan Youssef.
The Mu’tazila artist explained: “Abdul-Rahman decided, and said, “Your gift is a beautiful place that you will love.” A musician receives us with this warm welcome from the owner of the restaurant, who asked Hassan for permission to shoot, saying: To make my mother happy to visit you, and my husband agreed to shoot after his sympathy with the owner of the shop to show it to his mother.
And Shams Al-Baroudi continued: “I generally refuse to film except for necessity, but on this day the situation was embarrassing, and I stressed the owner of the restaurant, and I told him no one sees the video other than the mother, but who is left?!”
The retired artist confirmed that the owner of the restaurant published the video for the first time several months after the visit, and when the artist Hassan Youssef learned, he called him and blamed him.
She explained: “I was surprised by the spread of the video in this way, and the owner of the restaurant apologized to my husband, but after the video was circulated,” Shams Al-Baroudi confirmed that she wanted to clarify the truth of what happened so that some would not think that she and her husband, the great artist, were for the restaurant, saying: “I swear to God, this is what happened and who At that time, I was afraid to go to public places, except for the club in which we are members, and even the members imagine love with us, but their own photography, not for publication, as happened with the owner of the restaurant.” And she concluded: “My Lord forgives him. Not, of course, with logic and reason.”
