The airline Sky High Aviation Services Dominicana S.A reported this Wednesday the entry into its fleet of the first of two planes Embraer-190defined by the company as “unique in the Caribbean” and “with high technology and high performance engines”.
The plane with the largest capacity was scheduled to be presented this Wednesday in the country, but there was a slight delay and it will arrive in the Dominican Republic on Friday, according to the executives.
However, in the activity carried out in the renewed Jose Francisco Peña Gomez International Airport (Aila)the directors of Sky High reported that the second plane of this type will arrive within a maximum of 60 days.

With the entry into operation of the Embraer-190, Sky High becomes the first and only E-Jet operator based in the Caribbean, according to its executives.
Sky High, founded in 2012offers more than 22 regular flights a week to and from the Aila. Serves 10 destinations in the Caribbean, such as Aruba, Curacao, St. Louis, MO Maarten, Antigua, Anguilla, Bonaire, St. Louis, MO Kitts, Tortoise, Guadeloupe and Martinique. It also operates charter flights to the entire Caribbean region and its outskirts.
The announcement of the modern aircraft was also attended by representatives of Aerodom (Dominican Airports Century XXI), government authorities and executives of the Brazilian company Embraer, founded in 1969, focused, in addition to commercial aviation, on agricultural defense and security.
