Best ÖSV lady was today Mirjam Puchner. The tall athlete from the Salzburg region lost 1.07 seconds on Goggia in eighth place. The top 10 were from the Italian Federica Brignone (+1.09) and the young South Tyrolean Nadia delago (+1.15) completed. The latter already showed in the test runs that she can justifiably hope for a top placement. The Austrians Tamara Tippler (+1,16), Ricarda Haaser (+1.18) and Christine Scheyer (+1.48) had to be satisfied with ranks eleven, 13 and 17.
The race did not go as planned for the two Swiss ski women Corinne Suter (+1.20) and Lara Gut-Behrami (+1.35). They positioned themselves in 14th and 16th places. Tomorrow it might be better for them, because then the second and next descent of the fast women is on the program in the canton of Valais. In the discipline classification, Goggia scored 380 points; the athlete from Bergamo has her place in the sun. Johnson now has 240 points after finishing third in a row. Suter only got 18 points today, so that she has 238 points in the interim discipline classification. With 206 points, Ledecká still has a chance of finishing second.
